Energetic Efficiency has more and more relevance, day by day.
From a global perspective, energetic resources are everyday more scarce, and building “clean” or “dirty” energy generators becomes a complex scenario, because of their impact on the carbon footprint, their residual pollution, and the negative citizen opinion about them, Energetic Efficiency becomes a real solution to this new scenario. Countries that have adopted energetic efficiency politics, have made it through organizations like “Agencia Chilena de Eficiencia Energetica” (AChEE).
This is why AChEE, as a promoter of the good use of energy, developed a microdocumentary titled “Energetic Efficiency: A Global and Mining Industry’s Challenge”, that raises awareness about the energetic challenges that the Chilean Global and Mining Industries are facing today. “We know that the cost of energy in Chile is constantly rising, and this directly affects mining and global industries, because they consume 36% of the energy consumption nationwide. This is why is very important that this areas prove that they can maintain their production levels, reducing their energetic consumption and taking care of the environment” adds Diego Lizana, Executive Director at AChEE.
