Mechanical Engineering Technologists who complete a studies focus in manufacturing, are proficient in the specification, implementation, operation, maintenance and supervision of manufacturing systems and personnel. These technologists are prepared to assume the role of decision maker early in their careers in both the traditional and advanced manufacturing sectors. Students in this program utilize the advanced technology resources available through the college's Manufacturing Technology Centre. Students benefit from exposure to these "real-life" industry projects and also acquire valuable work experience through the completion of two co-op work-terms.
